love/lust

One thing I have always struggled with is knowing the difference between love and lust. ‘You don’t look autistic’

 You don’t look autistic.

I’m sure you would agree with me that when you tell someone you are autistic, you expect to be told that ‘you don’t look autistic’. What does that even mean?!?!?!? Is it something in the face or my accent? Or is it that I’m not a boy. Surprisingly I noticed I don’t look like a 5 year old little boy. I shouldn’t have to explain to you that just because i have boobs that i still have autism. As i like to say to my friends and family, i don't think i have to tell people about my autism… It is obvious when you get to know me. So, yes i may not be what your stereotype is, doesn’t make me any less of an autistic person. I am just that, an autistic woman.
